Quick Tip to Keep Your RV Bathroom Fresh

Here’s a quick tip when using your RV toilet. A lot of people like to turn the vent fan on when they’re in the bathroom, which is certainly considerate.

However, while that vent fan is exhausting the air up through the bathroom, don’t open the valve in the toilet.

If you do, that fan is going to pull exhaust fumes from your black water tank right up into your bathroom. So, shut that vent fan off before you flush that toilet.
